Veteran producer U.Suryanarayana Babu, who produced Rajinikanth's films like 'Ram Robert Raheem', 'Meri Adalat', 'Mahaguru' and 'Annadammula Savaal' with Rajini and Super Star Krishna, is getting ready to produce this film. This producer, who is a relative of Krishna, has got green signal from both Rajinikanth and Mahesh Babu for this project. He has recently met Rajini at Ramoji film city along with Kethireddy Jagadeeswar Reddy.

Rajini is said to have asked time as he has a film to be produced by EROS in pipeline after 'Lingaa'. Both Surya Narayana Babu and Kethireddy have confirmed this.

The news will sure make waves in both Tollywood and Kollywood. Let's wait for the official announcement.

Eros International & 14 Reels’ Telugu hit “Aagadu” starring Mahesh Babu has completed its one week magical run at the box office. Starring South superstar Mahesh Babu and Tamanna Bhatia in lead roles, Eros International Media Ltd released “Aagadu” across 2000 screens in four south Indian languages. Apart from Telugu, the film saw a Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam release in dubbed versions. Directed by well known filmmaker Srinu Vaitla, the film marks his second association with Mahesh Babu, whose earlier release “Dookudu” went on to become one of the biggest hits of Telugu cinema of all time. On its first weekend, “Aagadu” recorded blockbuster opening weekend box office collections of Rs 45 crore worldwide (Rs 30 crore India and Rs 15 crore abroad). But collections started to fall on weekdays due to the mixed reviews but still it managed to collect Rs.42 crores approx in its six days run. Now let’s look into the seventh day performance of “Aagadu”.
Aagadu continued to remain steady on its first Thursday. The film collected 2.5 crores (approx) on its seventh day, taking its opening week total to Rs.44.5 crores. “Aagadu” has performed exceptionally well on its first week but the real challange for the film will start from tomorrow, when Gopichand’s “Loukyam” hits the screens. With “Aagadu” receiving mixed reviews, several theatres might allot more screens for the Gopichand starrer. This might affect “Aagadu” collections in its second week. If the Mahesh starrer manages to hold well in its second week, it is likely to perform decent business at the box office.

Mahesh Babu hits the bull's eye with Aagadu

Southern superstar Mahesh Babu’s much anticipated Telugu actioner “Aagadu” has collected Rs.18.02 crore worldwide in two days of its release and is still counting. Experts say this is “the best opening” he has ever got in his career.

Interestingly, the film opened to mixed reviews from the critics, but “Aagadu” still managed to impress the masses.

“Mahesh’s ‘Aagadu’ has registered his career best opening. It managed to rake in Rs.18.02 crore at the box-office worldwide in two days and is going strong. It’s definitely going to set new records for the industry,” trade analyst Trinath told IANS.

Directed by Srinu Vaitla, “Aagadu” released Friday in cinemas. It also features Tamannah Bhatia, Sonu Sood, Brahmanandam and Rajendra Prasad in important roles.

Trinath said “Aagadu” was expected to collect more, but “due to rains in Andhra Pradesh, the numbers dropped on the second day. In some key areas, rain played a spoilsport, which resulted in drop in the overall box-office collection.”

But it has not affected the overall performance of the movie.

“The film is doing exceptionally well in all other places. Outside Andhra Pradesh, ‘Aagadu’ has registered new records at the box-office. It touched the Rs.1 million mark from the premiere shows in the US on Thursday,” he said.

Mahesh Babu Aagadu Censor Report Review & Rating

Finally, Mahesh Babu’s latest flick Aagadu has completed all the formalities for the grand release all over the world. The censor board have watched the film today and confirmed the sensor report on the movie. Aagadu is the much awaited movie for Mahesh Babu because his previous film 1-Nenokkadine was far away from the expectations of what a Mahesh film could have had.

After a long hiatus, Mahesh Babu’s Aagadu movie has cleared all the hurdles for the release. Aagadu has completed the censor formalities today and the censor board issued U/A certificate. The run time of the movie is 2 hours and 16 minutes with an interval gap in between the movie. Aagadu is scheduled to release on September 19th and will hit the screens without any hurdle now.

The censor talk of Aagadu movie is very positive and looks like director Srinu Vytla is sure about the hit rate of the movie. The movie seem have enough mass and commercial elements, and also what a Mahesh Babu movie should have and what Mahesh fans expect from his movie. This is the second movie for Mahesh Babu with Srinu Vytla. The reason for why Mahesh’s fans has more expectations is because of the combination of Srinu Vytla and Mahesh Babu.

Thaman has scored the tunes again for the movie of Mahesh Babu. The songs have already gained good response in the audience. Another entertaining element for this movie is that hot beauty Shruti Haasan crooned an item song and also performed the same song in the movie.  The movie is a sure shot hit for the combination again. In a recent interaction about the media, Mahesh Babu said that notwithstanding with the police get up in the movie, Aagadu is completely different from Dookudu. It is known that Mahesh played the same role in Dookudu. Some reports said that Mahesh is not a real cop in the movie. Well, we have to  wait for the official release of the movie to know this!

14 Reels investing 100 crores on Mahesh??

The successful combination in film industry 14 Reels and Prince Mahesh babu has been becoming very strong. Both worked for Dookudu which was a big hit at the box office, 1-Nenokkadine and the upcoming movie ‘Aagadu’ and now according to the latest buzz, it was heard that 14 Reels production house would be planning to invest 100 crore project with Mahesh Babu.

Mahesh has great love on the production house 14 Reels and has expressed his feeling on the banner in one of the audion function which was held recently. He said he will be doing more films with 14 Reels in future. Already this banner has produced 1-Nenokkadine with a budget of 70 crores. Also there is one condition that Shankar should be directing the film with Mahesh for investing 100 crore.
